Thermomix® TM5
The Thermomix® TM5 makes use of the Cook-Key® to access recipes, and the connection between these devices is made using magnets. In principle, it is possible to use the Cook-Key® even if you have a pacemaker. However, magnets can interfere with some medical devices. For this reason, the Cook-Key® should be handled in the same way as any other magnetic object. For your own safety and peace of mind, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of your pacemaker or implantable defibrillator and consult your doctor.

Thermomix® TM6
The Thermomix® TM6 belongs to a newer generation of appliances and does not require a Cook Key to connect to your Cookidoo® account. Instead, it has integrated access to Cookidoo® on the screen and connects wirelessly, so no magnetic accessories are needed for this purpose. Even so, if you have a pacemaker, an implantable defibrillator, or another active implantable device, we recommend that you contact the device manufacturer and consult your doctor as a precaution.

Thermomix® TM7
The Thermomix® TM7 lid contains magnets in the handle area of the mixing bowl. If you have a pacemaker, an implantable defibrillator, or another active implantable medical device, we recommend keeping the lid away from your medical device. For your safety, you should also contact the manufacturer of your implantable device and consult your doctor before use.
