Are you experiencing isssues with the maps and custom zones on your VR300 robot vacuum? Don't worry, we've got you covered with some easy steps to follow.
Issue : VR300 does not map the house correctly and the map does not load Solution:
- Ensure that the charging base is positioned in the center of the house, as per the instructions in the booklet.
- Check for any objects that may obstruct the robot's passage.
- Ensure that the Wi-Fi network connection is excellent in all rooms of the house.
- Clean the laser and sensors by following the directions in the article "Good maintenance practices/Keep the Folletto robot vacuum clean to avoid blockages."
Issue: VR300 does not start and the app reports that the base has been moved Solution:
- Try redoing the mapping by changing the position of the base.
issue: VR300 does not clear all selected custom zones on the map Solution:
- Follow the same verifications as in the previous issue.
- Check that the gates and doors are more than 90 cm wide.
- Ensure that the charging base has not been moved after creating the maps.
- Make sure the robot is always online while cleaning. If the Wi-Fi connection is not stable and the robot goes offline, cleaning will not be interrupted. However, the passage of the robot in a customized area would not be recorded, and the cleaning of the area could not be performed on the cleaning report on the App. Check if the cleaning of the custom zone is not actually performed by the robot.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve any issue related to maps and custom zones on your VR300 robot vacuum.
