How do I know when I need to refill the VG100+ with fresh water?

Cleaning fluid/fresh water must be refilled when the cleaning quality deteriorates. Signs that the cleaning quality is deteriorating are incomplete cleaning and/or insufficient moistening of the surface during cleaning. When topping up the cleaning fluid/fresh water, the dirty water tank should always be emptied and the used cloth replaced with a fresh, dry cloth.

What happens if I overdose the cleaning agent for the VG100+?

If you overdose, residues of the cleaning agent may remain on the surface (e.g. window pane). In this case, we cannot guarantee a streak-free and streak-free cleaning result.

To remove the streaks, please use a new, fresh cloth and a new tank of fresh water (without adding Kobold GC100 Glass Cleaner Concentrate or DA100 Limescale Cleaner) for wiping.

Can I also use other detergents in the appliance or can I only use the VG100+ in combination with the GC100 or the DA100?

It is not recommended to use detergent concentrates other than those from Kobold. The VG100+ Surface Cleaner works best with the GC100 Glass Cleaning Concentrate or the DA100 Limescale Cleaner, which have been developed for perfect cleaning results without damaging the product

Does the VG100+ also clean stubborn dirt, such as bird droppings?

Yes, but you should still specially pre-treat particularly stubborn stains.

How can I prevent streaking when using the VG100+?

Streaking can be prevented by cleaning the peel-off lip.

Proceed as follows:

Pull the extractor lip out sideways.
Carry out a visual inspection to detect any damage.
Turn the squeegee lip if damage is only visible on one side.
Reinsert the pull-off lip and use the undamaged side.
If there is damage on both sides of the pull-off lip, it should be replaced completely.

How do I recognise that the dirty water tank is full and what happens to the VG100+ if the dirty water tank is overfilled?

If the dirty water tank is overfilled, the excess dirty water leaks out of the back of the appliance.

To avoid this, we recommend emptying the dirty water tank every time you fill it with fresh water.

If overfilling does occur, please stop the cleaning process immediately and dry the appliance.
