Regular maintenance of the DuoSpeed SP7 brush is necessary to ensure optimal use and extend the device's longevity.
Disassembling the Sealing Lip Frames
To clean the sealing lips thoroughly, you can remove the sealing lip frames from the DuoSpeed SP7 brush.
1. Place the DuoSpeed SP7 brush upside down on a soft surface.
2. Ensure the hinge is facing towards you.
3. Pull the sealing lip frame from the center (1) to detach it from its two supports (2).
4. Clean the sealing lip frames under running water if necessary.
5. Clean the 2 suction openings to remove dust.
Assembling the Sealing Lip Frames
Before reinserting the sealing lip frames into the device, they must be completely dry. Due to their different shapes, the two sealing lip frames only fit on one side of the device. The continuous sealing lip of the frame should be oriented towards the inside, toward the wipe.
1. First, attach the sealing lip frame to the double hook (1).
2. To attach the other side, slightly compress the sealing lip frame and insert it (2).
3. Ensure that you can move the sealing lip frames up and down easily.
4. If the sealing lip frames get stuck, unlock them by pushing the inner edges of the sealing lips on the frame downward.
Cleaning the Reservoir
Empty the reservoir after each use
To avoid odors, regularly clean the reservoir with clear water. If necessary, you can also wash it with soapy water. Let it dry thoroughly before putting it back on the DuoSpeed SP7.
Cleaning the Inspection Hatch
1. Open the inspection hatch on the left side of the device. To do this, insert a coin into the slot (1). The suction channel is thus completely cleared (2).
2. Remove any items blocking the suction channel. Use an appropriate tool if necessary (e.g., screwdriver, hook).
3. Press the inspection hatch to close it. The inspection hatch locks, and it is securely closed.
