Cookidoo Assistant is your new digital companion within the Cookidoo app. It helps you find recipes based on what you feel like cooking, whether that is something suited to a particular cuisine, lifestyle, or occasion. If you are looking for vegetarian dishes, high-protein meals, family-friendly ideas, or inspiration for a certain number of people, Cookidoo Assistant helps guide you towards recipes that fit your needs. It is a simple new way to explore the Cookidoo world and uncover dishes you may not have found otherwise.
The update also brings Recipe Translation, making it easier to enjoy recipes from across supported Cookidoo markets in your preferred language. This opens up even more inspiration and gives you access to a wider variety of recipes from across the Cookidoo collection, all in a way that feels more accessible and convenient.

Cookidoo® Assistant is a digital helper powered by artificial intelligence within the Cookidoo® app that helps Thermomix® TM5, TM6 or TM7 through natural, conversational interactions. It understands written prompts or dictated input and responds with personalised suggestions. For example, finding recipes and inspiration, planning meals for "My Week", adding recipe ingredients to the shopping list, or comparing nutritional values. You can interact with it in different ways: choose one of the suggested prompts, type your own message, or use your keyboard’s microphone to dictate. Once you send your request, Cookidoo® Assistant processes it and offers the most suitable guidance based on your needs.

What are the requirements to be able to use Cookidoo® Assistant?
To use Cookidoo Assistant, you need an active Cookidoo subscription (on 60€, or 36/48€ if you have a TM6 or TM7). Once your subscription is active, the Assistant appears automatically in the Cookidoo app and is ready to use — no extra setup is required on your device. You will need the latest app version - usually these updates happen automatically, but if it doesn't (or is deactivated in the settings) you can visit your Appstore/Playstore and update the App manually.
Will there be any updates to Cookidoo® Assistant?
Yes, Cookidoo® Assistant will receive regular updates. Thermomix® TM7 was positioned as our base for future AI innovations, so Cookidoo® Assistant will evolve step by step, gaining new capabilities and refinements over time as part of this growing platform.

What is Recipe Translation and how does it work?
Recipe Translation makes it easier to discover authentic Cookidoo® recipes from other countries and enjoy them in your own language. Whether you find them through Cookidoo® Assistant or by filtering recipes by language and country, they can be translated automatically in just seconds with full Guided Cooking support. Maybe it is a Carbonara you tried in Italy. Maybe it is a local favourite you discovered while travelling, or a dish from another cuisine that immediately caught your eye. Recipe Translation helps turn that inspiration into something you can understand, trust and cook at home. Recipe Translation is available in the Cookidoo mobile app only. Initially, only selected languages and country-specific recipes will be available: English, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, and French. More will be added soon, so stay tuned.

How can I use Recipe Translation with Cookidoo Assistant?
Finding and translating recipes from other countries is easy with Cookidoo Assistant. Simply open the Cookidoo mobile app and ask Cookidoo Assistant to help you find recipes published in a specific supported country, such as France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Portugal, or the United Kingdom. Then open the recipe you want. If the recipe is supported, the translation option will appear automatically on the Recipe Details Page. Just tap the translation option, choose your preferred language, and enjoy the recipe in your selected language, to view, cook, bookmark, or plan it.
Does Recipe Translation work on both the Cookidoo app and website?
Recipe Translation is available in the Cookidoo mobile app only. Once a recipe has been translated, it can be cooked on the device with Guided Cooking.
Do assistant and recipe translation only work when Cookidoo is connected to the internet?
Yes, Recipe Translation requires an internet connection to work, as it relies on online services to provide its functionality. If the device is offline or Cookidoo is not connected to the internet, Recipe Translation will not be available.
